Harlem Hellfighters

Harlem Rattlers

Men of Bronze

WW1 ended in November 1918, systematic oppression did not.

The 369th Regiment of WWI fought in foreign trenches beside the French (at the time longer than any other American unit), only to come back "home" to fight a fight that has never ended.

The French government decorated the entire unit with the "Croix de Guerre", its highest award for bravery, as well as 170 additional individual medals for valour.

In the year 2020 stories like Dunkirk are well known yet these heroes, who died in obscurity, are still left out of our "his-story" books.

"Black is not a color in the rainbow" the War Department in the year 1917.

We don't want to re-tell history, we want to show it.
